I just found out about this? Really? No one thought to tell me about these crazy tunnels that may or may not exist beneath the town of Red Bluff?
And I grew up in this town three blocks from the old location of Red Bluff Chinatown….I passed the area all the time =.=;

That something is amiss someplace far away, and nothing you do can change this. The feeling that it is always happening again and again, repeating itself and you can’t change it. A wish to bring life to something dull, lifeless, but not the means to do so. Poetry in a heart doomed to believe such things are pointless, how cruel.

Or were the films headed on a very lovely forward-thinking path with social commentary and meaning and beauty up until about the 90s? Films like American Beauty and Pleasantville and that one with Wednesday Adams at summer camp have stuff in them that I don’t think mainstream films would do anymore. What happened?
Maybe….Maybe people didn’t want to see the beauty or truth in the world anymore. Maybe the wonderful meanings of those movies where lost on those who didn’t fully understand them at the time, or still dont today. It could be that people’s values changed too.
I really dont think there is just one answer to this question. Maybe I answered weird or something :P
